Xiaomi India today added two new TVs to its Mi TV portfolio. The company earlier launched Mi TV 4 55-inch alongside the Redmi Note 5 Pro and has now introduced two more affordable and smaller size models – Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch – priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 23,999, respectively.
The Mi TV 4A 32-inch has HD resolution and the 43-inch model has full HD resolution. Both of these are smart TVs and run on Xiaomi’s Android-based Patchwall OS. The UI curates contents from different sources and mounts them on the home screen based on user preference using AI.
It also integrates content from the Set-top box intuitively on the Home page so you don’t have to go through searching for your favorite content across channels. Both TVs also have 2 x10W dome stereo speakers with DTS audio support.
The Mi TV 4A 32-inch is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 chipset with 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. The TV supports MPEG1/2/4, REAL, H.265, H.264 content. It has 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, S/PDIF port, and WiFi.
The Mi TV 4A 43-inch is also powered by the same 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 chipset, with 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 2GB DDR4 RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. The 2x 10W dome speakers additionally support Dolby surround sound. You can play MPEG1/2/4, REAL, H.265, H.264 content.
Other features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), 3 x HDMI 1 contain ARC), AV, USB 2.0 x 3, Ethernet, and S/PDIF port.
Both TV models will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. The Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch will be available for 13,999 INR and 23,999 INR starting from March 13 and March 16, respectively. Xiaomi says that these TVs will retail twice a week (Tuesday and Friday) and the company would ensure that they have “enough” stock. Jio users can avail Rs. 2200 cash back offer but this will most probably be available in installments or on subsequent recharges.
