Chinese giant smartphone maker, Xiaomi had launched its Mi Max 2 in India in the month of July, 2017 for 16,999 INR and later added the cheaper 32GB ROM last month with the price tag of 14,999 INR. Today the company has announced Rs. 1000 price cut on both the variants of Mi Max 2.
With new price cut, the Mi Max 2 is an even sweeter deal for anyone who’s looking for an extra-large display phone for a budget price. The base 32GB storage variant will now cost 13,999 INR and will be available at Amazon.in exclusively. The 64GB storage variant, on the other hand, will retail at mi.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart and other offline partners.
As for specifications, the Mi Max 2 has a 6.44-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass on top and is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. On the software front it runs Android7.1 Nougat based MIUI interface.
The handset has a full metal body that measures just 7.6mm in thickness. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear and an IR blaster is present on top edge. For photography, the handset includes 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture lens.
Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, hybrid dual SIM, 3.5 audio jack, and stereo speakers.
