Xiaomi Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition launched in China, prices start at 13,000 INR approx
Xiaomi, just a couple of weeks ago, announced an all-new CC series geared towards the youths and designed by Meitu, which it had acquired last year. And now the brand has launched the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e first smartphones under this series in China with a top-end Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition coming in tow.
The two phones, the Mi CC9, and CC9e come with gradient finish, 3D curved glass body, water-drop notch, in-display fingerprint scanner, and triple-rear-camera setup. The Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition is identical to the Mi CC9 except for RAM, storage, and color variants.
Also, the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition features a Meitu logo on the rear instead of Xiaomi logo and its gradient finish looks more premium. Besides, the Mi CC9 Custom Edition comes with a few Meitu-specific software and camera optimizations.
Talking about the Xiaomi Mi CC9 spec sheet, it features a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Mi CC9 packs a triple camera module on the rear, including a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera is laced with portrait mode, super night mode, HDR, panorama, 4K video recording, and slo-motion video recording at 960fps. If you flip the phone, it mounts a 32MP front-facing selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and tons of AI optimized selfie tricks.
A 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging support runs the show for Mi CC9 while on the software side of things, it boots Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Standard connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
