Xiaomi has launched a new fitness band in India dubbed as the Mi Band 3i. It is essentially a version of last year’s Mi Band 3 without the heart monitor and a successor to the Mi Band HRX from 2017.The Mi Band 3i notably offers AMOLED display, up to 20 days of battery longevity, and 5ATM certification for water resistance.
The Mi Band 3i is priced at INR1,299 and a single black color variant is available for preorder starting today on Mi.com. The exact date of availability is yet to be announced, however. For a perspective, the Mi Band 3 is selling at INR17,999 while the Mi Band 4 costs 2,229 currently in the country.
The Smart Band 3i brings several upgrades over the Mi Band HRX. The latest band comes with a 0.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The battery is enhanced to 110mAh from 70mAh of Mi Band HRX, ensuring 20 days of battery life on a single charge.
The battery makes use of two pogo pin charging method that can charge the device to the fullest in 2.5 hours.

The Mi Band 3i is compatible with devices running upwards of Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 version. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.
So far as the features are concerned the Mi Band 3i displays steps and calories count as well as the notifications including call notifications which can also be rejected.
The Sports Mode helps in tracking activities such as walking, running, cycling, and treadmill while the Find Device feature helps in finding the paired devices directly from the wearable.
It also tracks sleep patterns and can forecast weather for the next three days. Swimming or showers the Mi Band 3i can be used in each condition as it bears the 5ATM certification for water resistance. All the data can be synced with the Mi Fit app, which can then be transmuted in graphs and tables as well.
