Vivo Z3x launched with FHD+ display,16MP selfie camera, 4GB RAM, and Snapdragon 660 SoC
The Vivo smartphone repertoire has a new addition, named the Vivo Z3x. The smartphone is launched in China and bears a stark resemblance to the Vivo Z1 that came out last year. Not only on the design front but also in terms of specifications the Vivo Z3x mimics the Vivo Z1 barring the selfie camera.
The Vivo Z3x is a mid-range smartphone with beautiful polycarbonate body design but somehow features a wider notch up front unlike the drop-notch found in most of the recent smartphones in the market. The notch contains selfie camera as well as the earpiece.
The bezels are minimal except the chin which looks just slightly thick. The rear of the device mounts a dual camera setup with a LED flash sitting below and an accented circular fingerprint scanner in the middle. The power button and volume rocker are lined on the right edge of the phone.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo Z3x sports a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with 2280x1080p full HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D curved tempered glass protection. On the inside, the Vivo Z3x is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC built on 14nm FinFET process, which is paired with Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Vivo Z3x tacks on a dual-rear-camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor and a secondary 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, there is 16MP selfie shooter which is a downgrade from the 24MP selfie camera found in the Vivo Z1.
The Vivo Z3x boots the latest Android 9.0 Pie underneath FunTouch OS 9.0 custom skin out of the box. A 3,260mAh non-removable battery keeps the light on. The smartphone is also equipped with dedicated gaming mode for lag-free gaming experience as well as in-house Jovi AI voice assistant.
The standard connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB OTG, micro-USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 154.81×75.03×7.89mm in dimension and weighs 149.3 grams.
