Vivo V15 Pro 8GB RAM variant launched alongside Vivo V15 now in Aqua Blue color option

As teased earlier, Vivo has launched a new high RAM variant of the Vivo V15 Pro in the Indian market. Up until now, the Vivo V15 Pro, which was launched back in February, was only available in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option, at a price tag of INR28,990. But now the Chinese manufacturer has put forth a new Vivo V15 Pro variant with scaled-up 8GB RAM.

The Vivo V15 Pro 8GB RAM and 128GB default storage variant is priced at INR29,990 and will be available for purchase via both online and offline channels. In addition to the 8GB RAM variant of the Vivo V15 Pro, the company has also introduced a new color variant of the Vivo V15 in Aqua Blue color option alongside the Glamor Red and Frozen Black color variants.

The Vivo V15 was originally launched in March this year and with subsequent price cuts, it is now available at INR21,990 via both online and offline channels across India.

Vivo V15 Pro

Talking about the Vivo V15 Pro 8GB RAM model, it is exactly the same original Vivo V15 Pro in terms of specs and features except for the bump in RAM capacity. The Vivo V15 Pro comes packed with a 6.39-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core SoC.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V15 Pro features a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and a triple-rear-camera setup that combines a 48MP primary sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The smartphone sports an in-display fingerprint scanner and is backed by a 3,700mAh battery. On the software side of things, the Vivo V15 runs Funtouch 9 based on Android 9 Pie.

The Vivo V15, on the other hand, is a stripped down version of the Vivo V15 Pro but comes with a bigger 6.53-inch full HD+ Ultra FullView display and 4,000mAh battery capacity. The Vivo V15 is driven by a downgraded MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Vivo V15 retains the same 32MP pop-up selfie camera from the Vivo V15 Pro but the triple-rear-camera setup now includes a 12MP primary sensor (versus 48MP of Vivo V15 Pro) along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The Vivo V15 boots Funtouch 9 layered on top of Android 9.0 Pie and skips the in-display fingerprint scanner and instead mounts a fingerprint scanner on the back.
