This is a high-end active noise cancellation headphone that comes with a QN1 processor for HD noise cancellation. Along with the Q1 processor, the headphones also offer an internal headphone amp which means the audio experience is going to be mind-blowing.
The WH-1000XM3 headphones come with a Quick Attention Mode that makes sure you are aware of your surroundings and you don’t have to take your headphones off when you’re talking to someone. This mode will decrease the volume of the audio when you place your hand over the right earcup of the headphone. The controls on this headphones are very simple to use and you have a touchpad that allows you to perform gestures in order to change the tracks, play & pause and to adjust the volume.
You also have an Automatic Power off function which you can tweak as per your liking using the Headphones Connect app. You will need to download the app from your phone’s respective app store and you can use it to tweak a lot of other things like turning on Noise Cancellation and more.
Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones also come with DSEE HX and LDAC which is Sony’s very own codec specially developed for wireless audio experiences. These headphones carry a 40mm, dome type (CCAW Voice Coil) driver and you can use Bluetooth 4.2, NFC or a wire to connect these with an audio source.
When it comes to battery life, one single charge of 100% can give you up to 30 hours of usage when noise cancellation is on while the battery life extends to 38 hours when you turn off noise cancellation. Sony has also included Quick Charge in these headphones which gives you about 5 hours of usage in a single charge of 10 minutes.
You can buy the Sony WH-1000XM3 Black and Platinum Silver color options and it is priced at Rs. 29,990. They will be available for sale on Amazon and Croma starting today, 11th October itself. You can buy it from these stores until 18th October and after that, they will be made available in Sony showrooms and major electronics stores.
