Samsung launches two new Curved Gaming Monitors in India starting at Rs. 35,000

Gaming Monitors in India have been a slow but growing market segment. With more and more companies introducing new products in this category, we now see new products being added. Samsung has launched two new gaming monitors in India today and both of them support AMD FreeSync.

Samsung Curved Gaming Monitor

The new curved gaming monitors come in two different sizes. The Samsung LC24FG70 is a 24-inch monitor while the Samsung LC27FG70 is a 27-inch monitor. Both of them have a VA panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1ms. These panels are perfect for gamers as both of them provide a high refresh rate and low response time which is great for gaming.

The displays used here in these curved monitors are Quantum Dot displays which is a fancy phrase for displays which can produce vibrant and better looking true to life colors. Both of these monitors have a contrast ratio of 3000:1 which means you will have better looking colors and deeper levels of blacks on screen. As mentioned, you also have AMD FreeSync on these displays which you can take advantage of, if you have AMD graphics on your system.

Ergonomics related features such as HAS, Pivot, Swivel, Tilt are present for you to use this monitor however you need. These are first few monitors launched from Samsung in the gaming series in India. We have options from LG & BenQ but it will be good to see more manufacturers launching these monitors. Coming to the pricing, since these are curved monitors, Samsung is charging a bit more than what is available in the market right now. The Samsung LC24FG70 & LC27FG70 will be available at Rs. 35,000 & Rs. 42,000 respectively
