Samsung Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s launched with 4,000mAh battery and triple-rear cameras
After having been announced last month the Samsung Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s launched in India today. The smartphone duos are refreshed versions of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 which were introduced earlier this year.
The “S” versions of the phones are mainly upgraded in terms of rear design and camera specs versus their predecessors. Also, the handsets are launched in entirely new color options such as Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Violet.
The Galaxy A50s and A30s come with striking design, especially the back features a unique geometric pattern as well as futuristic holographic effect.
Both the smartphones are fueled by a durable 4,000mAh battery equipped with fast charging support. The Game Booster feature that debuted with the Galaxy Note 10 series has also made it to the Galaxy A50s and A30s for the enhanced gaming experience.
In term of specs, the Galaxy A50s flaunts a 6.4-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a fingerprint scanner embedded into it. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by 10nm Exynos 9611 paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
The camera is where the Galaxy A50s has improved much compared to its predecessor. There is a triple camera setup on the back but the main sensor is now 48MP instead of a 25MP although the other two sensors 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 5MP depth sensor remain unchanged. Similarly from the 25MP the Galaxy A50s gets a 32MP selfie shooter in the front.
Other features include 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, One UI based on Android Pie, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC and Knox security feature support.
The Galaxy A30s is covered by a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display, which is actually a downgrade from the full HD+ display of the Galaxy A30. The display wields a fingerprint scanner underneath similar to the Galaxy A50s.
On the inside, the smartphone packs a 14nm Exynos 7904 chipset mated to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with up to 512GB expandability support via microSD card.
