Samsung has launched three new phones in their A series of the smartphone line up in India. The launch took place along with the M30 yesterday. These 3 new phones include the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A50. These phones are targeted towards the same segment of the market that phones from brands such as Oppo and Vivo currently have a decent share.
Samsung Galaxy A10
The Galaxy A10 from Samsung comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity V display with a resolution of 720*1520 pixels. It has an octa-core Exynos 7884 processor with 2GB RAM. You get 32GB onboard storage on the phone which can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card. You have a 13 MP single lens camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.9 and in the front, you have a 5 MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0. All this is powered by a 3400 mAh battery. The price of the phone is set to be Rs. 8490 and you will be able to buy it starting 2nd March.
Samsung Galaxy A30
Coming to the Galaxy A30 from the company, this phone has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U with a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels. You get an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor which is now paired with 4GB RAM. You also have 64GB onboard storage on the phone which can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card.
You have a dual camera setup on the back which includes a 16 MP and a 5 MP sensor and at the front, the phone has a 25 MP sensor for selfies. You have a 4000mAh battery in the phone which supports fast charging. For security, you have a fingerprint sensor. You can buy this phone from 2nd March for Rs. 16,990.
Samsung Galaxy A50
You also have the Galaxy A50 which is a higher end phone in the A series. This phone comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels. The screen to body ratio on this phone is 91.6 percent which is quite impressive. You get an octa-core Exynos 9610 processor with 4GB and 6GB RAM options. For storage, you get 64GB onboard space which can be further expanded to 512GB using a microSD card.
Just like the M30, the A50 comes with a triple camera-setup at the back. This triple camera set up includes a 25 MP primary sensor, a 5MP sensor, and another sensor with 8 MP specification. The front camera has a 25MP sensor with a lens that has an f/2.0 aperture. You get an in-display fingerprint sensor on the phone. Samsung has included Bixby AI vision feature on this phone as well.
You get a 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging and you also get a 15W fast charger with the phone. The Samsung Galaxy A50 is priced at Rs 19,990 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant cost Rs. 22,990. You can buy the phone starting 2nd March and it comes in Black, White and Blue colors.
