Hero Electronix under the Qubo brand launched the Qubo Smart Indoor camera along with a few other home automation devices last year in September. And today the company has gone ahead and launched its second surveillance camera dubbed as the Qubo Smart Security Camera.
The Qubo Smart Security Camera is weatherproof with an IP65 rating. Therefore, it can be installed outdoors as well, unlike the Qubo Smart Indoor camera.
The company says the Qubo Smart Security camera is equipped with Qubo COVID Guard features which will detect whether a person outside is wearing a face mask or not. During the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic this feature is pretty useful as it cautions the users in advance regarding if the persons such as the home delivery boys, visitors, or others have a mask on their face.
The Qubo Smart Home Security Camera captures high-quality footage with full HD+ 1080p resolution, 10x digital zoom, and night vision support. The two-way talk feature with echo cancellation lets the users talk with their visitors, no matter where they are.

The AI-enabled camera can smartly detect and notify only when a person comes into its field of view saving you from the false alerts that other cameras in this category send by confusing even inanimate moving objects as visitors or intruders.
The Qubo Smart Home Security camera is easy to set up and can be mounted on the wall or even atop the table in your baby room. The camera comes with an AI baked Baby Cry alert feature that notifies when the baby is crying. However, this is a subscription-only feature.
The camera has also integrated support for Amazon Alexa voice assistant, enabling the users to live stream the feed from the camera on the display of any Alexa Built-in devices.
In terms of security, the company says the Qubo Smart Home Security camera is the most secure device in this category as it makes use of the Q-Crypto framework. The data access is confined to only a few people with identified credentials.
The device is priced at INR4,290 and will be going on sale next week across all the leading offline and online stores in the country.
