OnePlus 5 Soft Gold Limited Edition Variant Launched In India

OnePlus today introduced another color option for its reigning flagship killer, 5, in India. The mid-range phone that was already retailing in Midnight Black (8GB RAM) and Slate Gray (6GB RAM) hues will now also be available in Soft Gold color option starting August 9, 2017.

The new OnePlus 5 Soft Gold edition has white fascia unlike the other two existing variants, and the Gold color is a little more subdued compared to the Soft Gold shade that OnePlus used last year on the 3T. OnePlus states that it takes 180 days to perfect the Gold finish on the aluminum casing used on the OnePlus 5 and the stocks for the Gold color will be limited.

The Soft Gold variant will be available only in 64GB storage model for the price of 32,999 INR on Amazon. In. OnePlus has also added Slate Gray color option to the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant that was till now available only in midnight black color.

Also, since Amazon will be celebrating its Great Indian Sales festival from August 9 to August 12, consumers can avail further discounts (like 15 percent off on SBI Cards) to further reduce the effective price. Besides Amazon, the new OnePlus 5 Soft Gold will also be available for purchase at OnePlus Experience stores in Bengaluru, Mall of India Noida, and Select Citywalk in New Delhi.

To refresh your memory, OnePlus 5 includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display, is powered by 2.45GHz Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and is running the Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Oxygen OS. It has dual rear cameras on the rear that facilitate 1.6X optical zoom and iPhone like Portrait mode.
