Nokia 3.2 with 19:9 display, Android Pie, 4,000mAh battery launched in India for starting price of 8,990 INR

After launching the Nokia 4.2 early this month, HMD Global has now launched the Nokia 3.2 for the Indian market. The new smartphone is based on Android One program with stock Android 9 Pie running out-of-the-box. A massive 4,000mAh battery adds another feather in its cap.

The Nokia 3.2 sports a polycarbonate body with a glossy back. The rear sports a single camera unit followed by a fingerprint scanner (only for 32GB version), and Nokia branding. The right edge of the device has a power button and volume rocker. The power button doubles as an LED notification button as well.

On the left side, there are a SIM tray and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The front has a water-drop notch and less thick bezels. A micro USB port and a 3.5mm jack find a place at the bottom and on the top respectively.

Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 3.2 packs a 6.26-inch 2.5D curved TFT display with 1520x720p HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is a 1.8GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 419 SoC paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage, expandable up to 400GB via microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Nokia 3.2 has an unflattering camera configuration by today’s standard. The phone mounts a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front-facing selfie camera again with f/2.2 aperture.

The smartphone runs no-frills stock Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box and houses a massive 4,000mAh battery for deriving juice that lasts up to 2 days on a single charge. For the connectivity options, the Nokia 3.2 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM radio, etc. It tips the scales at 181 grams and measures 159.44×76.26x86mm in dimension.

The Nokia 3.2 is priced at INR8,990 for the 2GB RAM+16GB internal storage model and INR10,790 for the 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage variant. It will be available in Black and Steel color options and will go on sale on May 23 via Nokia site and top retail outlets.

The Infinix 4S comes in a single 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant and boasts triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, Helio P22 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery.
