LG has finally announced their flagship for the year 2017, the LG G6 which is the sixth version of the flagship series. The images and some other details might have leaked before the official announcements, but the final details have been final released by LG. The phone has a metal unibody design and the modularity is also missing and hence the bottom of the phone isn’t removable anymore.

The edges are chamfered and the corners are rounded and this time the phone is water and dust resistant which is new. Talking about the display, the LG G6 has a 5.7-inch QHD+  display with a resolution of 2880×1440 with an aspect ratio of 18:9. LG is calling this new display a FullVision display. Under the hood, the phone has a Snapdragon 821 Processor because Samsung has control over the Snapdragon 835 for a while now. We might see a version with Snapdragon 835 later when it becomes a free market chip.

Talking about the cameras, you have dual-lens camera setup on the back and both of these cameras have a 13-megapixel sensor. One of these cameras has a single normal lens while the other one has a 125-degree lens which offers a wide angle view. The front facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter with a 100-degree wide angle lens and an aperture of f/2.2.

The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with LG’s very own 6.0 UX on top. You have full support for Google Assistant here which is good. The LG G6 comes in three colors  – Mystic White, Astro Black, and Ice Platinum. The phone will be officially released on March 10th but you can pre-order it starting 2nd March to 9th March.
