Infinix S4 with triple-rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, and 4000mAh battery launched in India for 8,999 INR
With the growing demand for affordable camera-centric phones, Infinix has launched the Infinix S4 in the Indian market. The India launch of the smartphone follows the launch in Nigeria and a few other markets a couple of weeks ago. The Infinix S4 comes with 32MP selfie camera and three rear cameras. An upfront tear-drop notch, a 4,000mAh battery, and glossy finish design are few other highlights of the device.
The Infinix S4 is aggressively priced at INR8,999 and will be available to purchase exclusively on Flipkart beginning May 28. The smartphone will be offered in three paint jobs, namely Nebula Blue, Twilight Purple, and Space Gray.
In terms of specifications, the Infinix S4 flaunts a 6.26-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 1520x720p resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Pumping power from under the hood is a 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.0GHz in alliance with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera, the Infinix S4 although being pretty affordable mounts a triple-rear-camera setup, which comprises a 13MP primary sensor with dual-tone Quad LED flash and f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor.
On the front, it is laced with a whopping 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture much to the delight of selfie buffs. The selfie camera is equipped with AI-enabled Face Unlock, AI Cam, AI Beauty, and Bokeh mode.
If the camera on the Infinix S4 is pretty impressive for a budget phone, it also scores high on the battery front. The smartphone tucks inside a massive 4,000mAh battery with up to 26 days of time on standby on 4G networks. On the software side of things, the Infinix S4 boots company’s XOS 5.0 UI running atop Android 9.0 Pie.
For biometric authentication, the Infinix S4 sports a fingerprint scanner at the back along with up-front Face Unlock feature. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM slots, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro USB port. The phone measures 152,2x73x7.9mm in dimension and weighs 141 grams.
