Honor 8C launched in India starting at Rs. 11,999 – 19:9 display, Snapdragon 632, AI dual rear cameras

Honor 8C has just been launched in India and the phone is touted as being the successor to the last year’s Honor 7C. The new 8C comes with an HD+ display that has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and yes, it does have a notch as well. The phone has 4 GB RAM and a Snapdragon 632 processor is powering everything that runs on the phone.

In the camera department, the phone comes with dual rear cameras with a setup that has a 13 MP camera along with a secondary 2 MP camera for portrait shots. Honor has added AI features to the camera app and it has AI scene recognition which can recognize about 500 scenarios within 22 categories. The front has an 8 MP camera again with AI features such as AI Beautify.

Honor phones have always been a benchmark in terms of design and the same stands true for Honor 8C. It comes with a back that features 3D nano-level texture design. The back shows the colors and glare in a very interesting way and the reflective surface also reflects light to make the phone’s back look great. The back also houses the fingerprint sensor which mixes well with the design.

Honor 8C supports dual 4G VoLTE and it has dedicated slots for dual SIM and a microSD card which means you can have two SIMs running along with expandable storage. The phone promises up to two days of battery life thanks to the 4000mAh battery.
