The ASUS product repertoire for the special occasion includes groundbreaking Prime Utopia concept motherboard, ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo laptops, and ZenScreen Touch portable monitor.

Besides these, ASUS also unveiled some special edition devices such as the ZenFone 6 Edition 30 smartphone, ZenBook Edition 30 laptop, and Prime X299 Edition 30 motherboard all with stylized “A” monogram representative of ASUS values and history. Here is the quick run-down of the devices put forth by ASUS in commemoration of its 30th anniversary.

ASUS ZenBook Edition 30

First talking about the Edition 30 devices, the ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 laptop features classic leather lid cover design with 18-karat rose gold-plated logo and comes with a haul of premium accessories. It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core SoC and features 6.40-inch FHD+ display as well as a massive 5,000mAh battery. On the optics front, the ZenFone 6 Edition 30 mounts a 48MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary camera at the back with the laser autofocus and LED flash support.

ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30

The Prime X299 Edition 30 is the continuation of ASUS’s endeavour to becoming the world’s leading motherboard brand. The Prime X299 Edition 30 comes with a wealth of features and tuning options, making it a cutting-edge system within affordability. The Prime X299 Edition 30 motherboard supports the latest Intel Core X-series desktop processors with high core counts, a new flagship 16-stage power solution, and improved cooling system for a performance boost.

The Prime X299 Edition 30 also features a 2-inch LiveDash OLED panel that displays performance stats including clock speeds, temperature, voltages, and also the custom texts. A second LiveDash display is integrated into Smart Console which also offers voice and hand-gesture control apart from displaying vital system stats.

A good amount of connectivity options such as two M.2 slots, dual Thunderbolt 3 Ports, and DisplayPort inputs allow connection of a chain of external storage and displays. In addition, Aquantia Ethernet, Intel Gigabit LAN and Wi-Fi 6 ensures high-speed networking as well.

ASUS ZenBook Duo (UX481) and ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581)

The ASUS ZenBook Duo compared to the ZenBook Pro Duo is an affordable ultra-portable 14-inch laptop that comes with ScreenPad Plus feature. However, vis-à-vis the ZenBook Pro Duo the ZenBook Duo is lighter and comes with a smaller chassis. It sports a full HD Nano-Edge display and is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor paired with GeForce MX250 graphics.

On the other hand, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo is more premium offering with a vivid 4K UHD OLED HDR touchscreen with ScreenPad Plus and ASUS NumberPad dual-function touchpad. The ScreenPad Plus, especially helps in productivity enhancement and smooth multitasking as it seamlessly complements the primary display.
The ZenoBook Pro Duo derives power from the 9th Gen Intel Core processors paired up with up to 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, ultrafast storage with up to 1TB PCIe SSD, Wi-Fi 6, and Thunderbolt 3.

ASUS Prime Utopia

The Prime Utopia is ASUS’s leap into the future of high-end desktop motherboard. This is a prototype as of now with immense possibilities of enhancements. It is designed with a range of cooling tweaks and a host of innovations, both customizable and non-customizable. Most interesting is its convention-defying back-of-the-board placement of PCIe slots, resulting in improved thermal management. The space generated on the front of the board allows more expansion of cards and M.2 leading to optimized lag-free performance.

Apart from that, the ASUS Prime Utopia also features an integrated water cooling system to dissipate the heat generated when fueling high count processors. The proprietary Hydra Cortex fan header controlling up to four fans is another salient feature that simplifies cable routing to water cooling radiators. The Prime Utopia flaunts a 7-inch full-color touch-sensitive OLED panel which can be connected via cable or Wi-Fi letting the users easily modify BIOS settings, control fan speeds, turn the system on or off or monitor real-time important system stats.

ASUS ZenScreen Touch

ASUS ZenScreen Touch is 9mm and 900-gram light portable monitor with a big 7,800mAh battery. It comes with a 10-point touch screen that supports swipe, scroll, drag, and pinch gestures for intuitive interaction with the system to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The innovative ZenScreen Touch app enables the display in controlling the Android apps for full view productivity. In addition, the more intricate tasks such as editing documents, photos, and videos can also be simply performed away from the home or the office.

The monitor packs hybrid-signal USB Type-C and Type-A connectivity, which helps in transfer of video signal as well as power over a single cable, thus bringing a seamlessly easy and clutter-free usage experience. With micro-HDMI support, the expansive ZenScreen Touch can be connected to an array of portable devices such as laptops, smartphones, cameras, and consoles for an elevated entertainment experience on-the-go.

The pricing and the availability of these devices are however still under wraps. But the possibility is that announcement in this regard might happen anytime soon.
