Zopo today launched Color F1 in India for a competitive price of 8,890 INR. The Zopo Color F1 comes with a multi-functional fingerprint sensor and also allows you to use multiple app accounts for same apps.
The handset comes with a multifunction fingerprint sensor. ‘Multifunction’ refers to Fingerprint reader’s use as shutter for the selfie camera, ability to change music tracks, support to play and pause video, to scroll the app list in the app drawer and more, simply by taping on it.
The Color F1 sports a metal frame and has 2.5D glass layered on top of the 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display. The handset is powered by MT6580 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. For photography, the handset includes an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
On the software front, the handset is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based software. The Zopo F1 also houses a modest 2300mAh battery which doesn’t sound like much considering the large display size involved.
Other features include barcode and QR code scanner, floating video integration, 3G, Dual SIM support (Micro + Nano), GPS and WiFi. The handset measures 153mm x 77.8mm x 8.5mm.
The Zopo Color F1 tries to be innovative with its software, but we are afraid that its hardware (which is clearly dated) could bog down the overall performance.
