To make it easier for parents and children to find kid specific and learning content, YouTube has launched a dedicated App, YouTube Kids, in India. This parents and kids friendly app will allow you to find videos on topics you want to explore and learn things by using a new method.
As of now, YouTube kids app is available in more than 20 countries and Indian consumers can download this app either from Google Play Store or from Apple Store for free.
The app allows you to explore content under four categories: Shows, Music, Learning and Explore. There is also provision for extensive parental control that includes restrictive search, a timer and sound settings. You can also cast the content from the app on a bigger screen using Chromecast, Apple TV, game consoles or a smart TV.
On the occasion of YouTube Kids App launch, lead content creaters will be adding new shows and content. These include new learning shows from ChuChuTV and Kids TV, a new season of “Cat & Keet”, a popular chase comedy show by Toonz Animation, the Gummy Bear song in Hindi, and a new season of Appu – The Yogic Elephant.
