Xolo has added a new smartphone Opus 3 in its quad core Opus series. Opus 3 is similar to Opus HD that company had launched last month, but with different processor. Xolo Opus 3 is a selfie focus smartphone similar to phones like Lava Iris X5 and will be available for 8,499 INR.
Xolo Opus 3 flaunts a 5 inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32 GB using Micro SD card. Since the phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, users will have access to almost all existing Playstore apps.
Xolo Opus 3 houses an 8 megapixel camera on its back surface, with Sony Exmor R sensor and dual LED flash for low-light conditions; it has required capability to record FHD videos. It also comes with a 5 MP front camera with 88 degree wide-angle lens, LED flash and BSI Sensor for good quality selfies and video calling.
This device houses a giant 2500 mAh Li-Polymer battery inside, which can deliver you around 26 hours of talktime on 2G network, 9 hours of talktime on 3G network and 5 hours of video playback. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE, 3G, and GPRS, GPS / A-GPS and Micro USB port.
This Dual Sim smartphone also boasts of a motion control technology, which allows users to use accelerometer and proximity sensor to control Music player, FM radio, Gallery, Camera and calls.
Xolo Opus 3 will compete against phones like Asus Zenfone 5 Lite, Huawei Honor Holly, Xiaomi Redmi Note in India.
