It’s a war going on out there. No, I am not talking about two countries fighting each other, I hope that does not happen. However I am talking about the war that is going on in the smartphone industry in India. Each and every played is trying to dominate the whole market by bringing something new to the table and this time it is Xolo which is a subsidiary of Lava Mobiles.
Xolo has launched the XOLO Prime in India which comes with 1 GB RAM and runs on the latest iteration of Android that is Android Lollipop.
The Xolo Prime is a dual SIM phone that comes with a 4.5 inches screen of 480*854 pixels resolution which converts into a pixel density of 218ppi which is decent for the device of this price range.
It is loaded with a MediaTek 1.3 Ghz quad core MT6582M CPU along with 1 GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8 GB and the storage can be expanded upto 32 GB via micro SD card. It has a battery of 1800 mAh which is OK for this configuration. It has a 5 MP camera with flash in rear and a front facing VGA shooter.
All in all this phone is launched to compete with Micromax Canvas Spark and to be honest it looks better that Spark. This phone also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Xolo’s very own Hive UI on top of it.
