Xiaomi has today announced its latest Note series smartphone, the Redmi Note 4 in China. The new Note will also be available in different storage variants like Redmi Note 3: the 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt memory will be available for CNY 899 and another variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage has been priced at CNY 1,199. You can buy both of these variants from Xiaomi’s online store Mi.com from 26th of August onwards.
The Redmi Note 4 boasts of a 5.5 inch full HD 2.5D curved display which amounts to 401ppi per pixel density. It has a 13 MP PDAF rear shooter with dual tone LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 5 MP front camera onboard with f/2.0 aperture and 85 degree wide angle lens.
Redmi Note 4 is handled by 2.1 GHz Deca Core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, paired with Mali-T880MP4 GPU and 2GB or 3GB of RAM. There is a 16GB or 64GB of ROM and an expansion slot for microSD card. It also has a fingerprint scanner which is presents just below the rear shooter. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.
Redmi Note 4 comes with 4100mAh non removable battery. There is a hybrid dual SIM slot which lets you to use second SIM slot as a micro SD card slot. Other connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
