Xiaomi is all set to launch its new Mi smartphone in India on 18th of July, 2017 and invites for the same have already been rolled out. The invite comes with a line “last year, we made ripples with this new category and now its back” which all but ascertains arrival of Mi Max 2.
Mi Max 2 has been originally launched by the company in the month of May, 2017 and its predecessor Mi Max was launched last year.
Mi Max 2 comes with a 6.44 inch full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm processor clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB or 128GB of flash storage and an expandable memory using microSD card slot.
Mi Max 2 sports a 12MP autofocus rear shooter with dual tone Led flash light and a front facing camera with 5 MP resolution sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 85-degree wide angle lens. It also has a giant 5300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology that can charge your handset 68% in just 60 minutes and offers you up to 57 hours of talk time.
Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 skin on top and has a hybrid dual SIM slot. There is a fingerprint scanner on its rear and also comes with an IR sensor. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
