Xiaomi Mi Band 2 With OLED Display Launched At Rs.1,999

Besides its Smart Air Purifier, Google Also launched the Mi Band 2 in India today, priced at 1,999 INR. The Mi Band 2 will retain on Mi.com starting 27th September and on Amazon India starting Midnight, 30th September.

The Mi Band 2 includes a 0.42-inch OLED display that can showcase time, activity stats, and your heart rate. The Mi Fit App lets you configure what all you would like to see on the display, and a silver capacitive button below the display lets you swipe between available stats.

The Mi Band first generation had a remarkable battery life. Thankfully, the same hasn’t been compromised with the addition of a display. The 70mAh battery on the Mi Band 2 can last for 20 days according to company claims. We have been using the Mi Band 2 for a while now and the battery backup has indeed been impressive.

The Mi Band also notifies you of incoming calls and notifications. It also prompts you to be active if you have been sitting idle for a long stretch of time. The Mi Band can also accurately track your sleep. You can also sync fitness data aggregated by Mi Fit app with Google Fit.

All said and done, the Mi Band 2 justifies its price. It incorporates meaningful improvements over the original Mi Band, like the OLED display and heart rate monitor, and is also more accurate. You can buy it for 1,999 INR starting Next week.
