Just before Xiaomi demonstrated its beautiful 2016 flagship phone, the Mi 5, to the world at MWC, the company also launched a more refined and upgraded variant of Mi4 in home country China, dubbed as the Mi 4s.
The Mi 4s has a 7.8 mm slim body, with metal side frame sandwiched between front and rear glass. The fully laminated IPS LCD display is 5 inches in size and flaunts full HD resolution.
The Mi 4s is powered by hexa core Snapdragon 808 hexa core chipset with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is provision for MicroSD card slot as well, but to avail it you will have to compromise on second SIM card (Hybrid dual SIM setup).
Xiaomi has provided with a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, 5P lenses with f/2.0 aperture and option to record 1080p Full HD and 120fps slo-mo videos. The front 5MP selfies camera also has a wide f2.0 aperture wide angle lens to fit more in each selfies frame.
On the software front, the phone offers latest MIUI7 ROM based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other enhancements include a fingerprint reader, IR Blaster, and USB type C port at the bottom with Quick Charge 2.0 supported.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. A 3260 mAh battery is housed inside, but Xiaomi has still managed to restrict the weight to 133 grams.
