Vivo has confirmed that it will launch world’s first smartphone with in-display fingerprint scanner dubbed as ‘X20 Plus UD’ on January 24 in Beijing, China and invites for the launch event has already been sent out. Vivo had showcased this smartphone in CES 2018, but didn’t revealed any of the details about the smartphone, not even name.
X20 Plus UD comes with Clear ID FS9500 optical fingerprint sensor which is made by Synaptics. It might come with 6.43 inch full HD+ 18:9 AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It can be equipped with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and a microSD card that can support up to 256GB cards.
X20 Plus UD is likely to sport 12 MP primary rear camera with LED flash light, f/2.8 aperture and a secondary 5 MP rear shooter. According to rumors, There will be a 12 MP front facing snapper with Led flash light and f/2.0 aperture.
X20 Plus UD houses a 3905mAh battery with fast charging support and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with FunTouch OS 3.2 skin on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
