Vivo today launched its next Selfie-first handset, the Vivo V5s, which is an upgraded version of the Vivo V5. The new ‘perfect selfie’ phone isn’t vastly different from its predecessor but adds a few new features and an improved design.
On the outside, the new Vivo phone flaunts an enhanced design with U-shaped antenna bands just as in Vivo V5 Plus. It will be available in Matte black and Gold color options.
Obviously, the USP of this handset is its 20MP front selfie camera that is paired with a moonlight flash and selfie enhancing camera software. Vivo has also added a group selfie mode this time around.
On the inside, Vivo V5s is powered by MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. You can also add up to 256GB of MicroSD storage. The software is Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0 that also has a Clone App feature that allows you to install dual apps.
On the rear, you will find a 13MP primary camera with PDAF and F/2.0 aperture. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG, hybrid dual SIM slot and 3000mAh battery.
The Vivo V5s will be available in Crown Gold and Matte Black color for 18,990 INR. You can pre-order it starting today and sales will start on May 6 for the Matte Black variant and May 20 for the Crown Gold color model.
