Vivo V1 with 5 Inch HD Display Launched In India

Vivo has launched a new mid range smartphone Vivo V1 under its V series in India. It is first smartphone in V series to retail in the county and will be available through major retail outlets in Silver and Gold color.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo entered in India with its flagship device Vivo X5 Max which was the slimmest smartphone in the world back then. Now the company has introduced its V series smartphones which are mid range smartphones and will be available within the price range of 15,000 INR to 20,000 INR.

If we talk about specifications, V1 has a 5 inch HD display and is powered by 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU along with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage and an expansion slot for micro SD card (up to 128 GB).

Vivo V1 features a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP shooter at front for selfies. Both cameras come with 6P wide F2.0 aperture lenses on top. It is equipped with 2300 mAh battery with “battery stamina mode” but Vivo hasn’t talked about backup details.

Vivo V1 is running FunTouch 2.1 OS which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.  Connectivity options include EDGE, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB port, dual SIM connectivity,

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Alex Feng, CEO of vivo Smart Phone India said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of our newSmartphone series. With ‘V’ Series we bring unbeatable proposition, price and products in the mid-segment category. Our first device in the category, vivo V1 incorporates cutting-edge technologies, exclusive music features and the highest quality camera shots.”

Vivo V1 will be available in silver and Gold color options at major retail outlets but the pricing and availability details of this smartphone are yet to be announced by the company. Rumours suggest that Vivo is also planning to launch the V1 max, specs for which haven’t been disclosed yet.
