Indian manufacturer Videocon has released its brand new slim smartphone “Infinium Z50 Quad”. The device is running Android Kitkat and quad core processor, and is available in two color options for 7,349 INR.
Infinium Z50 Quad has 5 inch qHD IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. This amounts to 220 PPI which is very useable. Since it is an IPS LCD panel you can expect good viewing angels. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor assisted by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It’s most likely MediaTek MT6582 chipset, but Videocon has not specified any details yet.
This device has 5 MP auto focus camera at the rear side with LED flash for low light photography. Camera software includes face detection, panorama shot and face beautification features. It also has 2 MP front facing camera to take selfies and for video calling.
The dual SIM Infinium Z50 Quad runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It has 1900 mAh removable battery, connectivity options include 3G-network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. Pre-loaded apps include V-Secure, V-Safe, Hungama, Fun Zone, GT Racing 2 and Modern Combat 4.
At the launch Mr. Jerold Pereira, CEO, Videocon Mobile Phones said, “With the Infinium Z50 Quad, we aim to capture the emerging budget smartphone market of the country by offering latest technology at affordable pricing.”
