Huawei Honor 7 was recently launched in India for 22,999 INR. In home country China, Huawei has now introduced an upgraded variant of the same which doubles internal storage from 16GB to 32GB, and will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ROM.
Huawei’s close proximity with Google must have facilitated timely development of Android Marshmallow based EMUI 4.0. The new Honor 7 will also include rapid charging and a 9V-2A charger will be bundled in the box. Other hardware remains same.
The Honor 7 includes a 5.2 Inch full HD display and is powered by octa-core Huawei Kirin 935 processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 128 GB MicroSD card support. On the rear side, there is a 20MP camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, F2.0 aperture 6P lens, and dual-tone LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor right below it.
On the front, things are equally interesting with 8MP BSI sensor front-facing camera, F2.0 aperture lens, and LED flash. Other features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, IR LED, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), IR LED, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and 3100mAH battery.
The improved Huawei Honor 7 will be available in Gold color and has been priced at 1999 Yuan (Approximately 21,000 INR). There is no word on whether this upgraded variant will make it across boarder to Indian market.
