Tecno Launches an Array Of i-series Smart Night Phones in India Starting At Rs. 7,990

Itel Mobile’s sister brand “Techno” was today presented at an event in New Delhi. To start with, 5 Tecno ‘SmartestNight Phones’ – Techno i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro and i7 – will retail offline in three states (Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Punjab). You can get all these handsets between the price range of 7,990 INR to 14,990 INR.

Except for Tecno i7, all the handsets will be made available from 22nd April onwards and the i7 model will hit the market in the first or second week of May.


Techno i3 and i3 Pro come with 5 inch HD display and are powered by quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor. These handsets are backed by 2GB (i3) or 3GB (i3 Pro) of RAM and 16GB of ROM that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.

Both the i3 and i3 Pro come with 8 MP rear shooter with 4 LED flash and an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. These handsets come with 3050mAh battery.


Other two models, i5 and i5 Pro include a 5.5 inch HD display and quad-core MediaTek 6737T chipset. The i5 has a 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, whereas the i5 Pro employs a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Both these handsets support expandable memory by up to 128GB using microSD card.

The i5 and i5 Pro are coupled with a 13MP rear shooter with quadruple LED flash and f/2.0 aperture and also having a selfie shooter with 8 MP resolution. These models of Techno will come with massive 4000mah battery and Rocket charging support.


Now if we talk about i7, this handset features a 5.5 inch full HD display and employs a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage. There is also a microSD card which supports up to additional 128GB.

i7 Pro sports a 13 MP rear shooter with 4 x LED flash, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. It also comes with 4000mah battery.

All of these five handsets run on Android 7.0 Nougat with HIOS v1.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE/  GPRS, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
