Sony Xperia Z launched in India for Rs 38,990

Sony Mobiles Today launched their latest Android Smartphone, Xperia Z in India for Rs 38,990 (MRP). It comes with a 5 inch Full HD Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.

It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. One of the best feature of the device is that it is both water and dust resistant up to a certain extent (Ingress Protection rating of IP55 and IP57). The phone currently runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS along with Sony’s Custom UI.

The phone is quite slim and light weight. It is just 7.9mm thick and weighs 146 grams. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB using the microSD card.  Xperia Z comes with a 13 megapixel autofocus camera at the back with Exmor RS sensor and a 2.2 megapixel font facing camera.

The phone comes preloaded with Sony Music music streaming app that would offer users unlimited music streaming for 6 months for free and the Sony LIV video streaming app that allows the users to watch over 77 Sony TV shows.

Sony Xperia Z comes in Black, White and Purple colors. It is priced at Rs 38,990 (MRP) and would be available from 12th march. It would come with 8GB of free 3G data from Vodafone for 2 Months. You would also get a Premium Case worth Rs 1,990 free with the device.
