Sony has launched its mid-range handset Xperia XA1 Plus at IFA 2017 which is going on in Berlin. This larger variant of Xperia XA1 will be available in Gold, Black and Blue color options in Autumn 2017.
Sony Xperia XA1 Plus is fitted with a 5.5 inch full HD display with Image Enhance technology which amounts to 400.53ppi pixel density. It is powered by 64 bit Octa Core MediaTek Helio P20 16nm processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, along with ARM MaliT880 GPU.
It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded by up to additional 256GB via microSD card slot. It will also be available in two SIM variants which dual or single and is backed by 3430mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive charging technology.
Xperia XA1 Plus flaunts a 23MP auto focus rear shooter with LED flash light, aperture of f/2.0 lens, 1/2.3″ Exmos RS sensor and Hybrid AF. Front camera of this handset comes with 8 MP resolution, f/2.0 aperture, 23mm wide-angle lens and 1/4″ Exmor R sensor.
Xperia XA1 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. While, the company has also launched its flagship handset Xperia XZ1 at IFA which runs on recently launched operating system Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type C port.
