Sony has announced a new mid-range Xperia handset, Xperia XA Ultra, which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xperia XA Ultra will come in three color variants including White, Black and Lime Gold. However, there are no details about price and availability yet.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra is fitted with 6 inch full HD display with Mobile BRAVIA engine 2 and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor (four cores clocked at 1.0 GHz and other four cores clocked at 2.0 GHz) coupled with Mali T860MP2 GPU.
Xperia XA Ultra packs a 21.5 MP rear camera with LED flash, hybrid auto focus and 1/2.4” Exmos RS sensor. This 4G enabled smartphone also bears a 16 MP front facing camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Sony Exmor R sensor. It measures 164.2 x 79.4 x 8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
It is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory which can be further expanded by up to 200GB via microSD card support. This dual SIM handset has a 2700mAh battery with no words on talk time or standby time. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
