Sony Xperia X and XA Launched In India At 48,990 INR and 20,990 INR

The Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA, which were first showcased at MWC this year, are now official in India, flaunting a launch price tag of 48,990 INR and 20,990 INR respectively.

As you would have guessed from the pricing, the Xperia X is a flagship grade device with a 5 inch 1080p full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 650 octa-core processor assisted by 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, along with MicroSD card support for secondary storage. The Xperia X performance which is employs the latest Snapdragon 820 would have made more sense at these prices though in Indian market.

Other Xperia X features include 23MP rear camera (Sony claims you can fire camera in just 0.6 seconds), 13MP front camera, dual SIM support, Fingerprint sensor and 2620mAh battery.

The Xperia XA includes a 5-inch HD curve glass ‘edge to edge’ display, and is powered by 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) octa-core processor with 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.

For photography, there is 13MP Primary Camera with 1/3” IMX258 Exmos RS sensor and 8MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX219 Exmor R sensor and wide angle lens. Other features include Dual SIM card support, Android Marshmallow, 4G LTE, WiFi , Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and a modest 2300 mAh battery.
