Sony Xperia Neo V Announced with Android Gingerbread Update
Sony Xperia Neo V is the new addition to Xperia family of Sony. The Xperia Neo V resembles to original Neo besides some updation of software’s on board from which the most notable updation is Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS.
The update will bring enhanced social networking experience, first to offer Google Talk with Video Chat, 3D sweep panorama & Sony Live Dock Station .
The specification of the device include , faster Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating System, Single core 1.5-GHz processor, 3.7- inches LCD display with Mobile based on Sony Bravia Engine, 320 MB inbluilt memory that can be extended upto 32GB with micros, 5MP camera in this Neo V instead of 8MP that was sported in original neo which is a downgrade for this version.
Sony Xperia Neo V have full connectivity support of Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with GPS and A GPS Support. When I first heard about this , I was hoping for a phone with some high end and latest features but I quickly learn that is just upgradation to original neo.
It’s also worth mentioning the battery, which despite the faster processor, still manages to pull off a very respectable performance. For us, that’s an absolute priority. The battery will see you through 7 hours talk time, 400 hours of standby time, if that’s your thing.
Unfortunately, no other details are available about this device right now, so we don’t know when it will launch or how much it will cost. The expectation about availability of the device is Q4 of 2011.
