Sony unveils New PCS-XG100 Video Conferencing System

Sony has unveiled their latest flagship Full HD 1080p video conferencing system PCS-XG100 from the IPELA range. PCS-XG100 uses the latest H.264 High Profile video compression technology which delivers highest quality images and reduces bandwidth congestion. It can transmit H.239 dual streams at 1080p 30fps and supports up till 9 sites of Continuous Presence (CP) connections and up to 16 sites through cascade connections.

The PCS-XG100 has been designed with built-in Quality of Service (Intelligent QoS), it supports high quality MPEG-4 AAC stereo audio codec standard and users can use maximum of 6 omni-directional microphones (PCS-A1) with the device. It supports triple monitor mode, HD recording & streaming, video annotations, dual network interface, Kiosk mode and much more.

It comes with a RF Remote Commander Unit (PCS-RFZ1) featuring new wireless technology. The PCS-XG100 has been priced at Rs 10,40,000 and it would be available across all authorized dealers in India from September 2013. It includes two omni-directional microphones (PCS-A1) and a PCS-RFZ1 RF Remote Commander unit.
