Sony launches XSP-N1BT car accessory in India for Rs. 12,700

Sony launched a very innovative car accessory on June 3, 2014 in India. Called as the XSP-N1BT, this device is a smartphone cradle which works with any smartphone transforming their smartphone into easy in-car mode with focus on useful apps like Navigation, Music and Phone while driving.


The smartphone cradle comes equipped with Bluetooth and NFC which though is just used for connecting the smartphone via Bluetooth only. The XPS-N1BT has a smart docking mechanism to accommodate various sizes of smartphones from various brands. The smartphone cradle receiver once connected provides complete control of your smartphone keeping in mind all the necessary tasks one could do with the smartphone while driving.

Sony “App Remote” which is a smartphone application available on Android and iOS flashes an easy access to audio music and navigation app controlled by touch panel operation. Apart from this, it even understands with Voice commands assisting the driver to drive carefully keeping their eye on the road. Whether it maybe launching phone’s navigation app, setting a travel destination, responding to SMS, or of course answering an incoming call, the voice commands works with all. The application works with all Androids and iOS 5 & iOS 6.

When the smartphone isn’t connected the cradle works as a standalone caar radio with CD, USB and tuner functions. Furthermore, XSP-N1BT has a 1.5A in-built charger with an optimally designed compact USB cable for any type of smartphones.

The new XSP-N1BT Smartphone Cradle Receiver from Sony is available across all car accessories shops and major car showrooms in India for Rs. 12,990.
