The Japanese smartphone manufacturer on March 5, 2014 launched the Xperia E1 and the Xperia E1 Dual in India. As by the name, these smartphones go by the name, with E1 having single SIM support and E1 dual having dual SIM support. Sony announced these handsets along with T2 at CES 2014 in January which was held in Las Vegas. Both of these models come with identical specifications except the SIM support.
The Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual sports a 4-inch WVGA display with a 480×800 pixels resolution and a 233ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8210) processor, paired with 512MB of RAM. The handsets comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage along with expandable memory support up to 32GB via microSD card.
The smartphone packs a 1700mAh battery and comes with a 3MP rear camera with no front-facing camera. Sony claims this smartphone to produce 100Db music through loudspeakers and is bundling a month free access to it’s premium streaming service.

Sony Xperia E1 Dual and Xperia E1 will be available from March 10, 2014 and March 25, 2014 for Rs. 10,490 and Rs. 9,490 in Black, White and Purple colors available at all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India.
