Sony launches UZ Series of Ultra High Speed SD cards in India

Sony India today on August 19, 2014 launched its new Ultra High Speed range of memory cards in India. Called as the Ultra High Speed SD card UZ series, these memory cards supports very high data transfer speeds which can easily handle high resolution videos and up to 4K.

These new cards are specially designed to serve professional photographers and videographers to shoot high quality content from their equipment. Earlier due to speed constraints, even after having a camera that supports up to 4K recording could not actually handle that resolution. These Ultra-High Speed (UHS) rated SD cards will allow data transfer speeds of 95MB/s (read) and 90MB/s (write) to guarantee fast and efficient transfers enabling smooth recordings with minimal delays.

The memory cards alike earlier ones from Sony comes with the Sony File Rescue software which allows to recover accidentally deleted multimedia content. These SD cards are protected with molded resin making the memory card durable, shockproof and resilient to extreme temperatures. These UZ SD Series memory cards are available across all Sony centers across the country and are available in two storage variants 32GB and 64GB for Rs. 5,339 and Rs. 9,942 respectively.
