Sony launches new NFC and Bluetooth enabled speakers in India

Sony India has launched three new wireless speakers SRS-BTV5, SRS-BTM8 and the ZS-BTY52 in India. All three speakers are both Bluetooth and NFC enabled. Using built-in NFC technology users can easily stream high quality music on these speakers instantly. The SRS-BTV5 and SRS-BTM8 speakers also has a integrated microphone so that users can enjoy voice calls on these speakers.

Sony SRS BTV5 Wireless speaker

SRS-BTV5 which is the one most affordable NFC enabled speaker launched by Sony is as small as a tennis ball and supports one touch NFC pairing. It allows users to answer calls via Bluetooth using the built-in microphone. It weighs around 130 grams which is quite light and uses Sony’s 360 degree circle sound diffusion technology. It has a rechargeable battery which offers around 5 hours continuous wireless playback. SRS-BTV5 is priced at Rs 3,990 in India.

SRS BTM8 Wireless speaker

Talking about the next speaker launched by Sony SRS-BTM8, it comes with a two way power supply system. You can either use an AC adaptor with the device or run in on dry battery for up to 20 hours. It is priced at Rs. 5,990 in India.


Sony ZS BTY52 Wireless speaker

Last but not the least, ZS-BTY52 Wireless speaker comes equipped with AM and FM Radio. It supports USB port and auxiliary input so that users can connect their Mp3 players with the device without any problems. It has a battery life of around 11 hours and costs Rs 8990 in India.
