Sony Launches MDR-XB450BV Extra Bass Headphones for 5,990 INR

Today Sony India launched MDR-XB450BV, its extra bass headphones priced at Rs. 5,990. MDR-XB450BV are the successor of MDR-XB450 and they come with extra bass boost, Vibration feature, good noise isolation, without compromising on style.

Sony MDR-XB450BV

Sony MDR-XB450BV has a 30mm dynamic driver unit which gives you a high-quality sound with extra bass and it also has a unique vibration feature which improves the music listening by giving vibration to users on their favorite songs.

You get the option to turn off the bass as well using a switch for times when you like it calm. But these headphones are essentially meant for bass lovers. In spite of being extra large, these are still categorized as on-ear headphones.

Sony MDR-XB450BV are slightly bulky but you don’t need to fit in extra batteries. There is no padding on the headband, but the extra cushioning on the ear buds helps with effective noise cancelation. The cap on the left ear bud can be detached to fit in two regular AAA batteries.  The other ear houses switch to control Bass along with an effect slider.

The tangle free both-sided Headphone cable is a decent 1.8 meters in length.  Though, in our opinion using a 2 ended cable on headphones can get uncomfortable at times. Sony MDR-XB450BV is light weight and comes with swivel folding style, so users can carry around and keep it in their bags easily. It also sports a flat serration cord for tangle free experience.

These speakers offer a sub-woofer like experience. MDR-XB450BV headphones will be available in all Sony Centers and most of the electronic stores.

Key specifications of Sony MDR-XB450BV:

  4. Swivel folding design for easy portability
  5. Tangle free cord
  6.  Frequency response: 5Hz – 22,000Hz
