Sony CyberShot WX300 camera launched in India for Rs 19,900
Sony has launched a new compact digital camera, CyberShot WX300 in India. The company claims it to be smallest and the lightest digital camera which comes with 20X optical zoom. The camera has a 18 megapixel EXMOR R CMOS sensor and comes with Sony G lens and optical steadyshot for blur free images even with shaky hands.
According to company the the image stabilization of WX300 is twice as effective at the high zoom settings when compared to the previous CyberShot HX20V camera. It has a built-in WiFi which allows the user to use any smartphone as a wireless remote to control the camera. You can also use the PlayMemories Mobile app by Sony to send and view the images on your smartphone or tablet.
The camera comes with a Superior Auto mode which adjusts the camera settings automatically depending upon the shooting conditions and a Picture Effect that helps the user to add artistic effects to their images like Toy Camera, Pop Colour, Soft High Key and Partial Colour. It also has a beauty effect that automatically re-touches photos to remove skin blemishes, widen half-closed eyes and whiten teeth.
Talking about the battery life of the device, WX300 is capable of shooting up to 500 photos from a single battery charge. Along with the camera you also have an option to buy various accessories such as carry cases, marine packs, memory cards, spare batteries and chargers.
The Sony CyberShot WX300 Digital camera will be available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India from Mid may 2013 for Rs 19,990.
