Sony 128GB UHS-I SDXC Card Launched in India for 13,200 INR

We live in digital age and thus more storage space is always a good thing. Sony has today launched 128GB UHS-I SDXC card in India for 13,200 INR.

The new SDXC card is basically meant for professionals and semi professionals. Since it’s a Ultra High Speed (UHS Speed Class 3) rated card, photographers can use it to record up to 4K videos and XAVC S codec mode recording. Sony claims this will be ideal for Burst, multi-frame or panoramic captures.

Max read and write speed is quite impressive at 94MB/s and 60MB/s respectively. Dimensions are standard 100 x 127 x 6mm. The main competition is Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I 128 GB card which was launched in India for 9,999 INR earlier this year.

Like other Sony cards this one too comes with Sony File Rescue software, which also supports 3D movies and photos. This means that if you accidently delete any video or photo, there is a chance for recovering the lost content.
