SanDisk Launches Extreme Pro, Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drives and Ultra 256GB microSD Card in India

SanDisk has launched some new storage products in India today. The newly launched Extreme Pro and Extreme Go are USB 3.1 flash drives and they have also launched an Ultra 256GB microSD card. The Extreme Pro starts at Rs. 8490 for the 128GB version and the 256GB version costs Rs. 13,990 in India. Extreme Go on the other hand, comes at Rs. 3990 for the 64GB version and for the 128GB version you have to shell out Rs. 5990. These two USB 3.1 drives are good for those who are looking for a bigger storage capacity in a small form factor.


SanDisk also launched its Ultra 256GB microSD card which is priced at Rs. 18,990. All these newly launched products will be sold on Amazon India and the SD card will be available starting 1st April 2017. These products were first introduced at CES 2017 and now they have landed in India.

The best thing about the flash drives is the speed they provide. Both of these USB drives boast of SSD speeds. The Extreme Go USB drives can reach a read speeds of up to 200MBps while they can reach write speeds of up to 150MBps. The Extreme Pro has a read speed of up to 420MBps and a write speed of 380MBps. Both of these flash drives can be connected using USB 3.1 which will provide blazing-fast read and write speeds.


The SanDisk Extreme Pro is a special flash drive and has an aluminum casing and comes with SanDisk’s SecureAccess software. You can also choose to have RescuePRO Delux Service that will help you recover data in case of drive failure.
