Samsung Electronics who apart from smartphones also excel in Televisions for the past eight years made a few announcements on May 7, 2014 in India which completely changes the industry. Samsung India launches their Curved Television range in India including those which were showcased at the CES this year.
Samsung elevating the home entertainment launched the world’s first Curved UHD TV which is an evolution ahead in TV viewing and audio experience. The wider viewing angles and clearer picture of the Curved TV revolutionizes the viewing experience and makes the picture a lot better which cannot be experienced on any of the flat screens. It creates a panoramic view which makes the content look bigger than it draws that too from virtually any viewing position, in any angle. The Curved display adds to depth and contrast ratio which results in amazing picture quality.
Samsung’s Curved UHD Televisions come with four times the resolution and pixels of the full HD TV. The proprietary technology converts Full HD, HD and lower resolution sources to nearly-UHD clarity through a unique four-step process that includes signal analysis, noise reduction, up scaling and detail analysis. Samsung UHD are the only televisions in the market which support HEVC, HDMI 2.0, MHL 3.0 and HDCP 2.2 making them to be future ready.
Samsung have announced five new televisions which adds up in the portfolio. They are Samsung 105 Curved UHD TV, Samsung HU9000 Curved UHD TV, Samsung H8000 Curved Smart LED TV, Samsung HU8500 UHD TV (flat) and Samsung HU7000 which are priced between 1 lac to 4.5 lacs INR.
