Samsung launch Galaxy Tab S with Super AMOLED Display

Samsung Electronics Ltd. the Korean tech giant on July 1, 2014 announced the Galaxy Tab S in India. The Galaxy Tab S series comes in two variants, the 10.5-inch and the 8.4-inch screen size.

These tablet provides Super AMOLED combined with enhanced productivity features and effortless multitasking. The display being one of the selling point here looks absolutely amazing.



Super AMOLED with deep black and brighter whites creates an immersive experience for consumers to use this tablet. Samsung being a pioneer in display technologies, have also built-in Adaptive Display feature adjusting the gamma correction, saturation and sharpness based on the application being viewed and the color temperature based on ambient lighting.

The tab packs in a Exynos 5 Octa core processor incorporating 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB.  The tablet is equipped with 8MP rear camera with full HD video and a 2.1 MP front facing camera.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung has priced the 10.5-inch model for Rs. 44,800 and the 8.4-inch model for Rs. 37,800 as the pre-order price. Customers who pre-order from Samsung experience stores or e-stores within 1st to 11 July will get a book cover accessory absolutely free.
