Samsung has introduced another low cost smartphone- Galaxy S Duos 3-VE in India which is an upgraded version of last year launched Galaxy S Duos 3. This smartphone priced at is available on Samsung’s online channel for Rs. 6,650.
Galaxy S Duos 3-VE incorporates a 4 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT display and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor with unspecified chipset assisted by 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM which can be further expanded by up to another 64 GB via Micro SD card.
Galaxy S Duos 3-VE sports a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a front camera but company hasn’t revealed the details about it. It also packs a Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery with unspecified backup details.
On the software front, Galaxy S Duos 3-VE runs on Android 4.4 kitKat OS out of the box. This device doesn’t support 3G connectivity which is a major drawback while other smartphones like Lenovo A6000 within this price range also offer 4G LTE. Connectivity features include 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, Micro USB port and dual SIM support.
