Samsung is all set to launch a new smartphone at an event which is going to be held on 31st of March, 2016. This is a motorcycle themed event with the tag line “#TapKickVroom” and “will change the way you ride”.
The company has also organized a contest and to participate in the same consumers will have to guess what is “#TapKickVroom” and tweet their answers on @SamungMobileIN. Three lucky winners will get a prize which is expected to be the same new smartphone ‘vroom vroom’ smartphone that will be launched tomorrow.
According to GSM Arena, “The upcoming smartphone will come with some unique feature for bike riders which will mute all calls or notifications during the travel and notify the rider after reaching somewhere.
According to the rumors, Samsung will launch a J series smartphone on 31st March, most likely it will be Galaxy J5, 2016 edition which was today introduced in China. The new Galaxy J5 includes a 5.2-inch HD display, and is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor with 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. The handset also includes a 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfies shooter, NFC, 4G LTE and 3100 mAh battery.
A smartphone catering to biker needs certainly sounds interesting. Such promises from OEMs have often turned out to be underwhelming in the past. We don’t know if this is just a marketing stunt or something of real value, but luckily, we won’t have to wait for long to find out. Stay tuned!
