Today Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 in India for Rs 41,500. It is their Latest Android Flagship device and features a 5 inch full HD Super Amoled display. Though it has a bigger screen than the Galaxy S4 but still it is smaller than its predecessor when we talk about its dimensions.
The device looks quite similar to S3 but there are number of hardware and software changes done by the company. In terms of design Galaxy S4 comes with a plastic body which has a textured back. Despite having a plastic body it still looks like a premium device and feels quite light in hand. It is powered by a Octa Core Processor (1.6Ghz quad core+ 1.2Ghz quad core) and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
It comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 2600mAh battery and Supports microSD card for additional storage. At the event Samsung also showcased various accessories such as S view cover, flip covers and Protective back covers for the Galaxy S4.
There are 9 sensors present in the Galaxy S4 which us quite impressive. In addition to the 7 sensors which were present in the Galaxy S3, S4 comes with temperature & humidity sensor and infrared blaster to use the mobile as a remote for your television.
Talking about the camera module present on the device, we were amazed that Samsung has provided so many features in the camera that you would hardly require any point and shoot camera for your vacation or to capture any important memory. S4 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and it some unique modes like Dual Shot, Drama Shot, Sound & Shot, Animated Photo etc. Here is a quick hands on video of the Samsung Galaxy S4:
